This role combines strong database administration expertise with modern data engineering capabilities, focusing on performance, scalability and reliability.Need exp. with on-premises database administration, which is a core requirement for this position. Hands-on experience in critical DBA areas such as performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and high availability in on-prem environments.ResponsibilitiesAdminister, monitor and maintain SQL Server databasesPerform performance tuning, query optimization and troubleshootingManage backups, restores and high availability (HA/DR) solutionsEnsure database security, integrity and complianceDevelop and manage data pipelines using DatabricksWork with large-scale data processing using Spark (PySpark/Scala)Support ETL/ELT workflows and data transformationsOptimize data processing for performance and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support data platform initiativesRequirements:6+ years of experience as a SQL ServerDBAStrong expertise in SQL performance tuning and database optimizationAutomate Database server maintenance tasks through TSQL, PowerShell, and PythonHands-on experience with DatabricksExperience with Spark (PySpark/Scala)Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelinesExposure to AWS or Azure cloud environmentsPreferred:Experience with Delta Lake or data lake architectureDB2, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQLFamiliarity with CI/CD or DevOps tools.Please email your resumes to mercia.vincent@triluxtech.com
