Key ResponsibilitiesLead and contribute to the complete Embedded Hardware Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) from concept to production.Support Sustenance Engineering activities including Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), alternate component qualification, and production support.Design and develop automotive electronic hardware systems, including Body Control Modules (BCM), Instrument Clusters, power electronics, and embedded control systems.Perform component selection, schematic design, BOM optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.Drive HW/SW integration, board bring-up, validation, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.Conduct DFMEA, FMEDA, reliability analysis, and support Functional Safety compliance activities.Perform board-level, interface-level, integration-level, system-level, and vehicle-level testing.Support Thermal, EMI/EMC, Environmental, and Compliance Testing for product qualification and certification.Collaborate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for prototype and production builds.Interface directly with customers, track technical issues, provide status updates, and drive issue resolution.Analyze and resolve hardware failures through systematic debugging and root cause investigations.Support production and manufacturing teams during product launch and field issue resolution.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.5+ years of experience in embedded hardware design and automotive electronics development.Experience in Functional Safety processes, FMEDA, DFMEA, and reliability engineering.Strong understanding of PCB design guidelines, layout considerations, and manufacturing processes.Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical activities simultaneously.
