Security and Dispatch Associate Job Summary: The Security & Dispatch Associate will assist with a variety of duties. The person occupying this person may interact with Leadership, office, product, drivers, systems, and clients to track, inspect, and record shipments in an accurate and professional manner. The person occupying this position will also be responsible for directing traffic and drivers. A Security & Dispatch Associate must be attentive to the activity going on around the property as well as the handling of checking in trucks. This person also must have basic computer and clerical skills. Security and Dispatch Associate Duties/Responsibilities: Help direct traffic, communicate with truck drivers,and ensure best use of staged truck parking Check in driversandcoordinate related activities and communication to ensure they getto the correct buildings. Work with the buildings to coordinate loads and schedules Monitors properties by camera and make security roundsthroughouttheproperty Ability to multi-task (operate gates, answer phones, watch cameras) Monitor and alert drivers and tenants of dangerous conditions Ability to de-escalate potentially difficult situations Ability to problem solve to help drivers get to their locations Initiates emergency response protocols Security and Dispatch Associate Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to handle multiple priorities and multi-task Basic computer skills, telephone skills Ability to enter data and operate software on computer Attention to detail Security and Dispatch Associate Education and Experience: Required: High School diploma or equivalent Preferred: Three years’ experience in related field Validdriver’slicense Security and Dispatch Associate Physical and/or Travel Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting Must be able tolift upto 15 pounds at a time Security and Dispatch Associate Team Member Benefits: Paid time off and Holidays Simplified Employee Pension Plan Health Insurance Group Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Gallup Leadership Development training
