Caregiver

Job Title: Caregiver Duties: - Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Assist with meal preparation and feeding. - Administer medication according to prescribed schedules. - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature. - Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. - Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality. - Advocate for resident rights and ensure their well-being. - Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals. - Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare team members. Skills: - Experience working in assisted living or similar care settings. - Knowledge of systems and processes related to caregiving. - Strong drive to provide compassionate care to individuals in need. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance. - Understanding of resident rights and the importance of advocacy. - Ability to work with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. - Proficiency in medication administration techniques. - Experience in childcare is a plus.
