Quality Control RFT Colorworks, Elizabethton, TN, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1007 Salary Range: $15.00 To $16.00 Hourly The Quality Control Technician - Textile Manufacturing - is responsible for preparing accurate customer submits, organizing and labeling testing samples, and ensuring all documentation is completed with precision. This role supports the quality department by maintaining strict compliance with customer requirements, internal standards and established paperwork procedures. Key Responsibilities Cut and prepare customer submits according to exact specifications, ensuring accuracy in size, labeling and presentation. Set aside and organize testing samples for internal and external labs, following established protocols for identification, tracking and storage. Follow strict paperwork and documentation instructions, including completing forms, logging sample details, and maintaining traceability records. Verify that all samples and submits match customer requirements, production specifications, and quality guidelines. Assist with basic inspections of materials and finished goods when needed, identifying visible defects or inconsistencies. Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure samples are collected on time and documentation is complete before release. Maintain an orderly workspace, ensuring samples, paperwork and materials are stored and labeled correctly. Support audits and customer requests by providing accurate records and sample histories. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Experience in textiles, manufacturing or quality control is helpful Strong attention to detail, especially in cutting, measuring, labeling and documentation Ability to follow written instructions and standardized procedures with precision Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and with a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods while cutting and preparing samples Capability to lift and move rolls of fabric Strong visual acuity for detailed work Manufacturing and quality-control areas with exposure to textile materials, cutting tools and production activity Requires adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of cutting equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
