The primary duties of the SPS EIT/Coordinator position include responsibility for execution of the technical aspects and deliverables of projects assigned and is an entry-level EIT/Coordinator who generally understands and can complete all technical requirements of projects of basic to moderate complexity.Conduct analyses to develop design options, performing modeling and/or calculationsComplete engineering calculation reports such as load flow, short circuit, grounding and arc flash studiesPerform routine engineering and design tasks, and participate in field reviews or construction observationMay work independently on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projectsPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasisPrevious related internship in an A/E firm preferredPrevious experience with system modeling and studies (ASPEN, CAPE, ETAP, etc)EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of 'Coordinator' and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in EngineeringComputer skills in Microsoft OfficeAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned cultureWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
