Job DetailsDescriptionJob Overview:The General Assembler role is key to organizing and assembling products for distribution, ensuring quality control, efficient inventory management, and on-time delivery. It supports productivity, cross-department collaboration, and customer satisfaction.This is an on-site hourly position. Workdays and hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Overtime may be required to meet business demands. Additional work hours will be assigned during peak times and year-end.Key ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assemble products in accordance with specifications and quality standardsConduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levelsCollaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiencyEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during assembly operationsPack HVAC products securely to prevent damage during transitLabel, stock, and organize items accurately for easy access and restockingMaintain a clean and organized work areaEnsure parts and tools are stored properly to avoid delays or safety issuesMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma/Equivalent or 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment in lieu of educationAble to work 8-12-hour shifts standingAvailable to work any shift and/or overtime as neededSkills And CompetenciesGood communication and teamwork skillsAble to work cooperatively with othersAble to manage time effectivelyAble to organize and prioritize tasksDemonstrates strong job-related knowledgeAble to operate in alignment with safety standardsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAble to identify and solve problemsWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. This position requires computer use.
