Turf & Plant Healthcare Manager (Riverhead)

Lead Fertilizer and Plant Healthcare Technician:Oversee and manage in-house turf and plant healthcare divisionThis is a leadership-level role responsible for the planning, execution, and quality control of all fertilizer and plant healthcare services across the company's portfolio of high-end residential properties.Ensure safe, accurate applications in compliance with NYS DEC regulationsPlan and execute seasonal fertilizer and plant healthcare programsManage materials, products, and equipment for the divisionMonitor plant and turf health; diagnose and resolve issues proactivelyMaintain detailed application records and reportingCommunicate scheduling, site conditions, and recommendations with management and clientsDeliver consistent quality service to ensure client satisfactionPerform monthly irrigation inspections, adjustments, and basic troubleshootingIdentify upsell opportunities and service enhancementsCoordinate with landscape maintenance and property management teamsRequirements:NYS Certified Pesticide Applicator (Category 3A – Ornamental & Turf)Experience in plant healthcare and fertilization within landscapingStrong knowledge of turf, trees, shrubs, and ornamentalsAbility to work independently with strong organizational skillsValid driver's license with clean recordHigh attention to detail and quality workmanshipWorking knowledge of irrigation systemsExperience with high-end residential properties preferredStrong communication, customer service, and leadership skills preferred
