Program CoordinatorThe Holdsworth Center is a non-profit organization founded and largely funded by Charles Butt, Chairman of H-E-B, a regional retail company. Our mission is to impact, over time, the quality of K-12 public education for all Texas students by supporting and developing leaders. Based in Austin, Texas, we were founded in 2017 in honor of Charles’ mother, Mary Elizabeth Holdsworth Butt, who was an educator, a philanthropist, and a lifelong pioneering advocate.We partner with public school districts to help them grow outstanding leaders at all levels so that staff thrive, and students excel in every classroom. At Holdsworth, we believe leadership isn’t just about titles. We make a deep investment in leaders at both the district and campus levels, including teachers who lead students in the classroom and influence and lead their colleagues.Purpose & Responsibilities The Program Coordinator serves as the operations point person for the Superintendent Pipeline team. This means coordinating events for district leaders as well as ensuring seamless operations for the team. The Program Coordinator will work with Lead Learning Designers and Directors to coordinate the high-quality delivery of a portfolio of learning sessions that serve district leaders. This portfolio may include our Superintendent Leadership Program, a leadership development program for Superintendents in Texas, Aspiring Superintendent Insights, an experience designed to give leaders insight about the superintendent role and their own strengths and areas of growth as they consider pursuing the superintendency, our Aspiring Superintendent Accelerator, which develops promising aspiring superintendents to become ready for the role, and the Texas School Board Institute, an event that brings together school board members for training in strong governance. You must have a strong desire to help leaders in our programs thrive in their leadership and lead their districts effectively. We are looking for individuals who share our passion for developing leadership in public education in order to improve the life chances of all students.As Program Coordinator, your job will be to support the delivery of high-quality learning sessions through project management, communication, event coordination and planning and implementing operations and logistics for the team. You will be a “go-to” person for leaders during and in-between sessions, ensuring that their learning journey is as effective and enjoyable as possible. Some evenings and weekends will be required when we are implementing learning sessions at the Campus at Lake Austin. A limited amount of travel may be required.You will work with talented, mission driven peers in a fast paced, dynamic environment to:Plan and execute logistics for coordinating and delivering all operational facets of learning sessions, from leader enrollment process to training sessions to leveraging the Learning Management System for cohort learningWork closely with the programs team and event and hospitality staff at The Campus at Lake Austin to determine details of events, such as guest lists, invitations, agendas, registration, menus, décor, A/V requirements, layout of meeting rooms, materials required, work orders, etc., and obtain final event approval on all proposalsEnsure setup for events is accurate and on time, greet guests and attend and assist at all designated events to ensure smooth deliveryPrep and manage all materials needed for learning sessions (hand-outs, supplies,etc)Manage all aspects of project management logistics for your portfolio of sessions – including creating, maintaining and adjusting project plans in Asana and drafting and maintaining cohort calendars and rostersBuild positive, productive professional relationships with leaders in our programs and provide outstanding customer service and supportDraft clear and compelling communications from the team to faculty, staff and leadersWork collaboratively with other teams to manage accurate participant data, including attendance data and enrollment informationEngage in regular monitoring, evaluating and reporting, including creating session surveys and preparing data reports for the teamExecute administrative duties for the team including accounting/reconciling credit card, supplies, scheduling meetings, and invoicing of contractorsAnalyze the operational efficiency of the team and proactively create systems and solutions for greater team efficiencyCollaborate with other coordinators and internal teams to optimize space availability and maintain alignment across programsYou’re a strong candidate if the following attributes describe you:You have strong alignment with our organizational values—Believe in People, Be of Service, and Drive for Excellence for Every Student.You have superb organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. Some of our systems include Salesforce, Asana, and Qualtrics.It’s okay if you don’t have experience in these exact systems, but you should feel confident in your ability to quickly learn and become skilled at using new technology applications.You have a strong desire to learn, grow, and get better through feedback.Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $57,000 - $60,000Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including but not limited to your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
