The Program Manager will serve as the primary program execution lead and will be responsible for overall program performance, customer engagement, stakeholder management, contract execution, schedule management, risk mitigation, and coordination across technical and operational teams. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders and ensure successful delivery of program objectives while maintaining alignment with contractual, technical, and business requirements.The Program Manager will work closely with Radar Systems Engineering, Mission Architecture, Product, and customer stakeholders to ensure technical and programmatic success.The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background managing complex technical programs in aerospace, defense, space operations, or related industries.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day program execution and serve as the primary interface between LeoLabs and customer stakeholdersManage program scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful contract performanceCoordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, product, business development, and customer successMonitor program performance against contractual, technical, cost, and schedule objectivesDevelop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, status reports, and customer briefingsIdentify, assess, and mitigate program risks while driving issue resolution and corrective actionsFacilitate customer meetings, technical reviews, program management reviews, and milestone eventsSupport contract administration activities, including change management, reporting requirements, and deliverable trackingCollaborate with business development and capture teams to identify follow-on opportunities, contract growth initiatives, and customer expansion effortsEnsure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory obligationsProgram ExecutionManage cost, schedule, and technical performanceDevelop and maintain integrated program plansCoordinate cross-functional execution teamsManage program risks and dependenciesCustomer InterfaceServe as primary customer-facing program representativeCoordinate technical reviews and status meetingsSupport customer reporting requirementsTeam CoordinationSynchronize efforts across:Radar Systems EngineeringProductSoftware EngineeringModeling & SimulationMission IntegrationProgram ControlsTrack milestones and deliverablesSupport financial planning and forecastingEnsure contractual complianceTransition PlanningSupport technology maturationCoordinate demonstration activitiesEnable transition into operational capabilitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Aerospace, Physical Sciences, or a related field7+ years of experience managing technical programs, projects, contracts, or customer-facing initiativesDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in complex operational or technical environmentsStrong knowledge of program management principles, lifecycle management, and risk management practicesExperience supporting government, defense, aerospace, space, intelligence, or technology programsExcellent organizational, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environmentEligibility to obtain and maintain any required security clearancesPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Department of Defense, U.S. Space Force, Intelligence Community, NASA, or other government customersFamiliarity with Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Space Situational Awareness (SSA), space operations, radar systems, or related mission areasProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent program management credentialExperience managing cost-reimbursable, fixed-price, and/or time-and-materials contractsActive U.S. security clearanceMaster's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Program Management, or a related disciplinePerks and BenefitsGlobal workforce: flexible remote/hybrid opportunitiesWork on complex, meaningful missions with real-world impactUnlimited paid time off for most rolesCompetitive salary and equity packagesComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageAccess to the forefront of commercial space operations and defense innovationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
