Deck Builder

This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in various aspects of construction while working on projects. *Duties* * Interpret construction plans to accurately build decks according to specifications * Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment * Frame decks using dimensional measurements, and trim carpentry techniques * Install structural components such as posts, beams, joists, and decking materials with hand tools and power tools * Perform concrete forming and concrete finishing as needed for foundational support * Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation, material transport, and demolition tasks * Execute siding restoration work to ensure seamless integration with existing structures * Read and interpret drawings and schematics for accurate construction execution * Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols on-site * Manage construction plans efficiently while coordinating with team members to meet project deadlines *Qualifications* * 2+ years proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing, carpentry, or related fields * Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings * Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and woodworking equipment * Ability to interpret plans accurately and apply dimensional measurements precisely * Experience operating heavy equipment safely on active construction sites * Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations in construction tasks * Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols for heavy lifting and site management * Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us today if you're ready to build exceptional outdoor spaces while advancing your career in a lively and supportive environment!
