FP&A Analyst

OverviewPrepares financial analyses and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, capacity management, capital investments, and rate of return. Assists with creation of companywide budgets and forecasts, and analyzes trends in sales, churn, operating expenses, capital expenditures, operations, and other related areas. Utilizing PC systems and software, develops and maintains financial models, compiles, and prepares reports, graphs, and charts of data developed. Provides commentary on results versus budget and forecast to senior leadership. Develops business case studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.ResponsibilitiesPrepares material for senior leadership presentations to internal and external audiences.Analyzes data and explains findings to department leaders to facilitate problem solving.Assists in development and maintenance of the company's financial planning models within the cloud platform, AnaplanCollaborates with department leaders to build, maintain, and analyze department budgets, forecasts, capacity management plans, and results.Ensures timely preparation of financial reports and analyses by coordinating with senior staff.Serves as a key business partner and contributor to growth strategies, tactics, and long-term planning.Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications BS or BA in Accounting or FinanceDemonstrated ability to work with cross-functional groupsAdequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job ResponsibilitiesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work both independently and with othersAbility to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlinesProficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applicationsPreferred Experience 1+ Years of Accounting/Finance/FP&A experienceThorough understanding of GAAPAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExperience with Anaplan model buildingPrior experience particularly in the data center industryWorking Conditions Hybrid from Corporate officePay TransparencyTierPoint is committed to practices that promote pay equity and transparency.
