Traveling Nuclear Medicine Tech

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. The position is located in Richmond, VA at a hospital facility.Minimum QualificationsAn associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in Virginia, if applicable.Current BLS certification.Minimum of 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating gamma cameras and SPECT equipment.Familiarity with radiation safety practices, quality control procedures, and patient dose documentation.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in a hospital radiology or nuclear medicine department.Advanced certification such as ARRT(N) or SNMMI credentials preferred.Assignment DetailsShift Hours: 0700-1530.Shift Days: Days.Apply now and you'll be contacted by a recruiter who’ll give you more information.Benefits Designed for TravelersWe value your commitment to impacting patient care.
