If you're a team player who's dedicated to delivering top-quality results every day, then we want you to come cook with us! What You'll DoThe Director, FP&A is a senior financial leader and key member of Traeger's Finance leadership team, responsible for the full scope of financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the enterprise. This role leads a team spanning Revenue & Gross Margin, Commercial Finance, Product Finance, OpEx, and FP&A Systems — and serves as a trusted strategic partner to the VP, FP&A, Strategy & IR, CFO and executive leadership. The Director will set the vision and standards for FP&A excellence at Traeger, driving the insights, processes, and team capabilities needed to support profitable growth and sound decision-making at every level of the organization. How You'll Help Us WinOwn the company's annual budgeting and financial planning processes end-to-end, ensuring full P&L integrity from Revenue through EBITDA and alignment with Traeger's strategic objectivesServe as a primary financial thought partner to the VP, FP&A, Strategy & IR, CFO, and senior leadership team — operating seamlessly from detailed, hands‑on financial analysis to executive‑level strategic perspective, delivering clear, decision‑ready insights that inform capital allocation, performance management, and strategic prioritiesOversee revenue, gross margin, and channel profitability analysis in close partnership with Sales, Commercial, and Product teams, ensuring investment decisions are grounded in rigorous financial evaluationOwn the enterprise forecasting cadence and performance review rhythm, proactively surfacing risks and opportunities and communicating financial performance clearly and confidently to executive stakeholdersLead Supply Chain and Product Finance partnerships to optimize cost structures, improve margin performance, and support new product and sourcing decisions with sound financial frameworksOwn OpEx planning and reporting, partnering with functional leaders across the organization to optimize investment capacity and drive accountability, efficiency, and disciplined cost managementOversee FP&A Systems strategy, ensuring Traeger's planning tools, data infrastructure, reporting capabilities, and AI‑enabled capabilities continuously improve to meet the needs of a growing, complex businessChampion a culture of analytical rigor and process excellence — setting standards for financial modeling, KPI development, and management reporting that enable faster and better decisions at all levelsLead, develop, and retain a high‑performing FP&A organization, building a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and strong cross‑functional partnership What You'll Need To SucceedBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with at least 4–5 years leading teams of managers in a complex, multi-functional environmentProven track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams and fostering a collaborative, results-driven cultureBroad FP&A expertise spanning revenue, gross margin, product, supply chain, and OpEx — with the ability to connect the dots across a full P&LExperience owning or influencing FP&A systems and data infrastructure, with a bias for continuous improvement in tools and processesExceptional business partnering skills — able to earn trust with senior executives and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable strategic recommendationsOutstanding communication and executive presence; skilled at presenting to and influencing C-suite audiencesAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Adaptive Planning, Redshift/SQL, or similar FP&A tools is a strong plusResults-oriented, high-energy leader who thrives in ambiguity, manages competing priorities with ease, and holds themselves and their team to the highest standardsPlayer‑coach mindset, with the ability to step into the details when required while empowering managers and teams to operate independently at scaleStrong judgment in balancing speed vs. precision — knowing when to move quickly with directional insight and when to go deep to ensure rigor and confidence Why You'll Love to Work HereBe part of the most disruptive force in outdoor cookingLead a talented team working toward a common goalCulture of risk-taking, innovation, & qualitySo.
