OFAC Specialist

OFAC SpecialistBanco Sabadell is seeking an OFAC Specialist to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.Responsibilities:Perform the tasks related to the verification and approval of possible matches and "hits" of OFAC reported by T24 System using the system established FIS Prime-Metavante.Request and to obtain the appropriate information from account officers or corresponding area for determine the approval of the alert.Escalate to Compliance Department (BSA/AML) the possible matches or doubts for its approval or investigation.Maintain sufficient records as evidence of each case investigated.Prepare monthly reports and statistics.Coordinate with Compliance Department (BSA / AML) the requests of information received from other banks.Collaborate with the Payments Service Area when support is needed, or as assigned by managers according to Department needs.Requirements:At least 3 to 5 years of experience in banking. Ideally having worked as an OFAC analyst.A strong practical knowledge of laws applicable to BSA and AML, OFAC requirements and USA Patriot Act.Good analytical and organizational skills.Good communication skills (oral and written).Must be able to speak, write and read English and Spanish fluently.Sabadell Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer
