About the Role
The Benefits Administrator is responsible for data maintenance, administration, and providing subject matter expertise to team and client. This is purely a benefits administration position, with none of the other traditional HR responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Assessing situations with a broad view, develop and implement strategic approaches
Administering benefit plans and providing subject matter expertise to client
Understanding unique benefit plan structure with complex eligibility and apply specific benefit rules
Using Excel skills to match data Management, reconcile, analyze. Identify potential issues, and/or create custom reports from multiple data files and sources.
Reviewing client requests and determine best approach to meet client needs
Tracking and complete weekly, monthly quarterly and annual processes to ensure completion and accuracy
Assisting participants with eligibility issues and inquiries and perform other work duties as assigned.
Researching requests and provide accurate and timely responses. Identify and implement automation opportunities. Other as they occur to ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
Possess bachelor or equivalent work experience required
Possess analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Must have a background in benefits (ideally Health and Welfare)
Able to quickly master and apply new concepts
Possess project and client management experience
Possess intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and be self-motivated. Must be results-oriented with a client first environment mindset
Possess verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to facilitate effective conversations with client and internal team.
Possess four or more years of professional office work experience.
Possess two or more years of Benefits (ideally Health and Welfare) experience.

Salary Pay Range
Minimum: 55,000.00 USD Maximum: 90,000.00 USD
