JOB SUMMARY: SPATCO is looking for a full-time salesperson role at SPATCO Energy Solutions. As we continue our growth in Gonzales, LA, we're seeking a professional Salesperson in the area that will be responsible for selling convenience store construction projects, fuel installation packages and retail fuel equipment associated with convenience stores.Essential Functions:Experience developing and managing relationships with customersPrepare and present sales presentationsDevelop, negotiate and deliver customer proposalsWork closely with customers and internal SPATCO teams to identify best solutions to meet the customers' needsEstablish positive working relationships with several internal SPATCO teams to ensure on time/on budget delivery of customer's project(s). i.e. sale support, service, credit collections and constructionProduct knowledge specific to our industry and/or a demonstrated experience in prior jobs learning new product lines/business is required Establish productive and professional relationships with vendorsThorough understanding of the retail petroleum marketplace and what factors influence the market and customer decisionsIdentify sales gaps within the territory and create plans to fill the gaps and drive incremental market share growthPrepare and submit reports (e.g. sales reports, expense reports, and territory business plans)Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basisStay up to date on new technologies, market events/conditions affecting the industry and ultimately grow company's market share and revenue within the assigned territoryExperience, Competencies and EducationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven track record of sales success and meeting sales targets and key performance indicators Experience working in the oil and gas industry or related field is preferredAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamProficiency with Microsoft Office and sales management softwareExcellent interpersonal and relationship-building skillsStrong communication skills and ability to present and sell products/services to customersAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationshipsAbility to work independently and as a team playerSelf-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and goalsAbility to travel up to 50% of the time5 years of previous experience and track record Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred or equivalent experienceBenefits• Paid holidays • Paid vacation and sick time, Up to four weeks' vacation with tenure • 401K match • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance as well as supplemental coverages offered• Company-paid Life Insurance
