Job Description Job Title: Material Handler Level 1PLocation: 1 Mercedes Drive, Plant 2 Vance, AL 35490Duration: 6 MonthsJob Summary:As a Storeroom Attendant at Rockwell Automation's customer on second shift, you will perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. This will be Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with the occasional weekend. You will report to the Storeroom Manager and work onsite in Vance, Alabama.Your Responsibilities:Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift.Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
