Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Social Worker position is available in a school setting in Margaretville, New York. This role provides a unique opportunity to work directly with students, families, and school staff in supporting the emotional and mental health needs of the school community.Primary ResponsibilitiesDeliver individual and small-group counseling aligned with students’ IEPs, 504 Plans, and Tier 2 or Tier 3 interventions identified by the MTSS Committee.Collaborate with families to connect them with community resources that enhance students’ well-being.Participate as a valued member of the counseling team, assisting faculty in crisis situations such as student dysregulation or emotional distress.Maintain regular working hours: Monday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM.QualificationsCurrent and valid New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification, or actively pursuing LCSW licensure under supervision.Alternatively, New York State Certified School Social Worker (C-SSW) credentials are acceptable.Completion of all required Mandated Reporter training in accordance with New York State education regulations.Approved New York State Education Department (NYSED) fingerprinting and background clearance.Documentation of Sexual Harassment Prevention training as outlined by NYSED guidelines.BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate.Guaranteed hours and comprehensive benefits package.This opportunity provides a supportive environment where your skills can make a meaningful impact on students’ lives.
