Barista

Position Summary As a Barista, you’ll be the artist behind the bar! You’ll craft top-notch coffee beverages, support the rest of Todays Grind Barista Team, and help keep our shop running smoothly day-to-day. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves people, has a creative spirit, and is passionate about great coffee. As a start up coffee shop, this position will play a large role in product development and design recommendations. What You’ll Do: · ✦ Coffee Craft & Quality Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and seasonal specials with consistency Maintain beverage quality standards Support menu innovation and seasonal offerings with the manager · ✦ Operations Support Open and/or close the shop following all procedures and checklists Restock supplies throughout the shift and communicate inventory levels to the manager. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate equipment needs or maintenance issues to management Required Experience Have great communication skills and enjoy conversation with customers Can multitask and stay calm under pressure Preferred Experience Have previous barista experience with strong espresso skills Have food safety or barista training certifications Are comfortable with POS systems (Clover) Are passionate about supporting the community About Todays Grind Coffee Company At Todays Grind Coffee Company, we are a family and community focused business.
