This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently.Job SummaryPanelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will design and implement utility grade, industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical power systems.Job DutiesDesign and development of comprehensive electrical packages for switchgear projects (e.g., one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs).Conduct a technical review of projectRelease bill of material for purchasing and fabricationReceive new product designs, product modifications and implement the new designs/changes into production engineering systemsProvide support to product development for modeling and DFM (design for manufacturing)Support the creation and maintenance of standard designs and configurationsProvide support to manufacturing regarding product and project questions and issuesProvide technical support, purchasing and strategic sourcing as requiredInteract with mechanical engineering, project management and customers as requiredCommunicate job status, including possible issues, with supervisorSupport the creation and maintenance of engineering systems and processesMinimum QualificationsThree plus years of experience in medium voltage switchgear designBS in Electrical Engineering degree requiredKnowledge of control circuits, transfer schemes, differential schemes, PT/CPT load calculationsExperience in front elevation, three-line and one-line creationExperience turning quote and customer specifications and drawings into a complete drawing and documentation package ready for customer and constructionA strong understanding of the mechanical design of switchgearA strong understanding of internal wiring of switchgearFamiliarity with ANSI, NEC and UL standardsAutoCAD and SolidWorks requiredStrong organizational and time management skills requiredAbility to work in a multi project multitask environment with changing priorities requiredAnalytical abilities and problem-solving skills requiredExcellent communication skills both written and verbal requiredUS work authorization without sponsorship requiredGrowth mindset with the ability to accept challenges requiredAbility to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more requiredAbility to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time requiredPreferred QualificationsPMP preferredBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, HSA, term life, AD&D, STD, LTD100% medical premium paid for by Panelmatic for the employee-only level medical coverage80% paid for by Panelmatic and 20% paid for by the employee on all other level medical coverage (ie employee plus child, employee plus spouse, family)401(k) contributions matched 100% up to 4%Scholarships, educational reimbursement, paid volunteerism, and paid personal and professional development providedPTO and paid holidays providedCareer advancement opportunitiesCompetitive wagesFamily-friendly environment with average employee tenure above five years#J-18808-Ljbffr
