About the Role
We are seeking aFamily Medicine Physicianto provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. This role includes preventive care, acute care, and chronic disease management, with an emphasis on building long-term relationships and improving patient outcomes through high-quality, evidence-based care.Key Responsibilities
Provide full-scope primary care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients (based on clinic scope)
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries; manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma/COPD, heart disease)
Deliver preventive care including annual physicals, wellness visits, screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, EKGs) and coordinate follow-up care
Perform in-office procedures consistent with training and privileges (may include suturing, biopsies, joint injections, I&D, cryotherapy, etc.)
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and care teams to ensure continuity of care
Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in the EHR
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Provide patient and family education to support shared decision-making and care plan adherenceRequired Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME/AOA-accreditedFamily Medicine residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible inFamily Medicine
Active medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility to obtain)
DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered carePreferred Qualifications
Experience in outpatient primary care, community health, urgent care, or value-based care models
Comfort working in team-based settings with NPs/PAs, nurses, MAs, and care coordinators
Interest or experience in women’s health, pediatrics, geriatrics, or minor procedures (depending on practice needs)
Bilingual abilities aligned to local patient population needs (e.g., Spanish)Work Environment & Schedule
Primarily outpatient clinic-based (inpatient coverage and call vary by employer/practice model)
Typical weekday schedule; some clinics offer extended hours
