Position DescriptionPosition Title: Full Stack Odoo Developer Department: ITClassification: Exempt - Direct Approved By: Human ResourcesREPORTING RELATIONSHIPSPosition Reports To: CIOJob SummaryWe are seeking a high-performing Full Stack Odoo Developer to lead the customization, integration, and scaling of our Odoo ERP ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing bespoke modules, optimizing backend logic in Python, and crafting sophisticated frontend experiences using JavaScript/OWL.The ideal candidate doesn't just write code; they understand business workflows and can translate complex requirements into seamless digital processes.Essential FunctionsDesign and implement custom Odoo modules using Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.Build interactive and dynamic UI components using JavaScript and the Odoo Web Library (OWL).Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate Odoo with third-party platforms (shipping, banking, or specialized analytics tools).Debug and optimize Odoo performance, particularly focusing on database queries (PostgreSQL) and load times.Manage data migrations and ensure clean synchronization across multi-company environments.SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITYNoneQualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)Background in building custom Power BI connectors or advanced data modeling.Contributions to the Odoo Community Association.Expert-level Python skills with a focus on clean, scalable, and modular code.Strong proficiency is modern JavaScript (ES6+), OWL, and XML.Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.Solid understanding of core ERP modules: Sales, Inventory, Accounting, and Manufacturing.EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent experience.Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.Experience4+ years of experience with Odoo (v16/v17 preferred), including deep knowledge of the ORM framework.Experience with Git, Odoo.sh, or Docker-based deployments.BACKGROUND PREREQUISITES Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification and reference checks.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSWith or without reasonable accommodations, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions.
