Tree Crew Foreman

Dave’s Tree Service is seeking a skilled and motivated Tree Care Crew Foreman to lead our growing team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations while working hands-on in the field — from precision pruning to safe removals. You’ll play a vital part in maintaining and improving the health and beauty of trees throughout Moore County, NC. This is a full-time, year-round position (Monday–Friday). Weekends are typically free, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. What We Offer $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Health, disability, and life insurance (after 90-day probation) 7 paid holidays after 1 year of employment Paid training & continuing education through TCIA-sponsored programs Stable, year-round work with supportive management and modern equipment Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a tree crew with safety and productivity as top priorities Perform and oversee pruning, removals, climbing, and general tree care Train and mentor less-experienced crew members Operate and direct the use of aerial lifts, mini skid steers, and grapple trucks Safely execute tree rigging from the ground and canopy using proper rope techniques Communicate effectively with sales and office staff to ensure smooth job flow Maintain a professional, customer-focused work environment Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and readiness Requirements Skilled in tree cutting, climbing, and natural/directional pruning Ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in all weather conditions Physically fit, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver’s license required ISA certification, CDL, or prior foreman experience preferred (not required) Why Join Dave’s Tree Service At Dave’s Tree Service, we value teamwork, professionalism, and growth.
