Cad Operator

Job Title: CAD Operator Location: Hauppauge, NY Duration: 6+ Month Contract Pay Range - $23/hr to $25/hrRole Summary: Prepare construction drawings for electronic/low-voltage systems (fire alarm, security, access control) supporting installation projects.Key Responsibilities:Create AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, riser diagrams, and electrical interconnection drawings.Prepare submittal documents (data sheets, battery calculations).Maintain project drawing files, records, and as-built documentation.Work with design team to support construction installation drawings.Required Skills:AutoCAD proficiency (2014 or newer).Experience with Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Some experience in construction drafting (electrical/mechanical preferred).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.High school diploma or equivalent.
