We look forward to your application!What You Will DoEstablish a safe, healthy work environment for employees and contractors by driving accountability for safety performance and by regularly reviewing and communicating policies, practices, expectations and positive reporting.Minimize the environmental impact of project activities with accountability for environmental compliance and practices as well as role modeling personal environmental responsibility.Actively participate in development and management of the scope of work, schedule, costs and risks of assigned major projects to ensure the project plan can be successfully accomplishedUnderstand and effectively use established project management systems and project management practices to achieve positive scope, schedule, quality and cost resultsLead and manage project risks through identification, assessment and tracking. Mitigate project risk as appropriate and accept project risk where mitigation and avoidance will result in unacceptable outcomes for the projectActively monitor and report on the performance of assigned major project, using key performance indicators, and taking vital actions to correct adverse situations or trendsAccountable for overall project cost, schedule and performance objectives of assigned capital projects for expanding and maintaining the plant, process and pipeline networks of the Company’s business units. Project budgets can total more than $100 MM/year and are typically over 2+ years in duration. These will be projects of extreme complexity, involving FERC/State regulatory processes and federal agency permittingWho You AreYou have:7+ years of progressively responsible experience in the oil and natural gas industry with 3+ years actively engaged in project management in addition to having a bachelor’s degree in an applicable subject areaSolid understanding of oil/gas pipeline and facilities constructionKnowledge of federal and state regulatory frameworks for oil/natural gas pipelines & facilities, including safety and environmental standardsA valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record that will be verified upon hireYou CanOffer a solid understanding of project management methods and techniques along with possessing the ability to make good decisions under acute conditions and making disciplined decisions in the face of uncertaintyYou ArePassionate about upholding Enbridge’s core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion and High Performance along with our ways of workingPreferredPMP Certification or equivalentBachelor’s degree in Engineering and Project Management experienceProven Engineering & Construction experienceProven leadership and management capability, including organizational and planning skillsWorking ConditionsWork performed in typical office environment with significant travel up to 50%, both domestic and international during key times to project locations Enbridge provides competitive workplace programs that differentiate us and offer flexibility to our team members.
