Team members are encouraged to take ownership of their work, develop technical expertise, and contribute creatively from concept through construction.The practice values high-quality, site-responsive design and maintains a collaborative environment that supports professional development, mentorship, and long-term career growth.What You’ll Be DoingAssisting with projects through all design phases, from concept development to construction documentation and site implementationProducing drawings, graphics, presentations, and visual materials to communicate design ideasContributing to grading studies, detailing, material selections, and planting designParticipating in site visits, construction coordination, and field observationCollaborating closely with architects, consultants, and internal project teamsSupporting multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and organisationWhat We’re Looking For3–6 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, architecture, or a related design disciplineDegree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a comparable fieldStrong design and graphic communication skillsExperience working through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phasesKnowledge of grading, detailing, materials, and site design principlesProficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft OfficeStrong written and verbal communication skillsInterest in hands-on design involvement, including sketching, planting design, and construction administrationAbility to thrive in a collaborative studio environmentAdditional Experience That Would Be BeneficialHigh-end residential, hospitality, institutional, or rooftop projectsPlanting design and plant material knowledgeRendering and visualisation skillsExperience with Rhino, Lumion, D5, or other 3D modelling/rendering softwareLicensure or progress toward professional licensureWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-related bonus opportunitiesMedical and dental coverageRetirement savings plan with employer contributionPaid holidays and vacationPre-tax commuter benefitsLong-term growth opportunities within an established and respected design studioCollaborative and creative working environment in New York City
