Lecturer, Full-Time, Temporary - Political Science

DescriptionThis is a temporary lecturer position with full-time responsibilities teaching courses in the Department of Political Science during the 2026-2027 academic year. Primary teaching responsibilities will be the core curriculum common course, PSC 1387 The U.S. Constitution, Its Interpretation, and the American Constitutional Experience. We especially welcome applicants with research or undergraduate teaching experience in American politics, public law, or political or constitutional theory. An ability to teach introductory courses in another subfield of political science is welcome but not required. Finalists will be required to attend an interview with University administration. Employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.Located in Waco, Texas, Baylor University is the oldest college in Texas.
