Volunteer for a startup modernizing democracy and energizing local elections! 🗳️🇺🇸Civic equips local election offices with nonpartisan, white-labeled tech to personalize voter information and cultivate informed civic participation.Voter turnout and civic engagement in local elections are severely hindered by a fragmented political information landscape and a profound communication gap. Many citizens want to participate meaningfully but struggle to find clear, localized details, leaving them to vote based on simple name recognition rather than actual policy alignment. At the same time, local election offices lack the modern digital infrastructure and scalable tools required to deliver personalized outreach, keeping critical voting data isolated from the communities who need it most.Civic addresses this systemic bottleneck by partnering directly with local election offices to deploy a nonpartisan, white-labeled platform that serves as a modern B2B tool for government outreach. Instead of launching isolated third-party apps, Civic integrates seamlessly with local jurisdictions to merge official election logistics with a comprehensive, personalized voter guide tailored to an individual’s specific interests and local issues. By replacing fragmented political noise with a centralized, hyper-local digital infrastructure, Civic connects voters directly to candidate positions and office overviews. This scalable system eliminates the information barrier, transforms passive citizens into informed participants, and empowers local governments to boost voter turnout effectively across American election jurisdictions.Role (Volunteer, unpaid): Product DesignerRole Description: We are excited to post our first volunteer project on We Make Change!
