Sr. Staff Accountant

Accrued time is available to use immediately!Why Join UsOpportunity to own key accounting processes and make an impactCollaborative, growth-oriented team environmentExposure to cross-functional business operationsCareer progression potential within accounting and financeWhat Success Looks LikeAccurate and timely completion of month-end closeHigh-quality, audit-ready reconciliationsClear and actionable financial insightsContinuous improvement in processes and controlsMonth-End GL ClosePrepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, and adjustmentsSupport and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesReview general ledger activity and ensure accuracy and completenessAnalyze financial results and investigate variancesPrepare and maintain detailed account reconciliations for balance sheet accountsReconcile subledgers to the general ledger (AP, AR, fixed assets)Maintain supporting schedules and roll forwardsAsset Management & Technical AccountingManage fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposalsMaintain amortization schedules for leases, prepaid expenses, and other assetsManage accounting process in areas such as leases and intercompany transactions, including consolidation of financial statements and preparation of supporting schedulesAudit & ComplianceEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesSupport external audits by preparing schedules and responding to requestsAssist with tax-related filings and reporting requirementsMaintain documentation for audit readiness and internal control compliance, including supporting ongoing internal controls monitoring and testing activitiesCross-Functional Support & Process ImprovementPartner with AP, AR, and operations teams to resolve accounting issuesProvide guidance on proper coding and accounting treatmentIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunitiesSupport ERP system enhancements and reporting toolsQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred5+ years of progressive accounting experienceManufacturing or inventory experience preferredTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accountingExperience with month-end close and reconciliationsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with ERP systems (e.g., EPICOR, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Core CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesEffective communication and collaboration skillsPre-Employment Drug and Background ScreeningsSEKISUI Aerospace is a Drug-Free workplace.
