Immediate Need for Licensed Structural Engineer

Experienced Structural Engineer to manage, lead and perform various structural design engineering analysis as well as a variety of tasks that support the overall project goals. The structural engineer will have the opportunity to work on new residential design, additions, and alterations/modifications. bridge, building as well as retaining walls. Perform structural inspections and assessments. The candidate can either be a full-time employee(W-2) with limited benefits or as independent contractor (1099), and must be local. Responsibilities: Project management and client interactions Carry out structural design, inspection and assessments. Prepare and review plans, construction drawings, and specifications Prepare all required professional documents and reports Provide CAD for all projects as necessary. Carry out construction administration responsibilities as needed Review and approve shop drawing, responding to and contractor questions Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in Structural Engineering preferred Minimum 8-12 years’ experience as a Structural Engineer, Residential experience is preferred.
