This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on production equipment and facility systemsTroubleshoot and repair electrical components including motors, PLCs, control panels, wiring, sensors, and VFDsInstall, maintain, and upgrade wiring systems, control panels, and industrial electrical equipmentEnsure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policiesRespond promptly to equipment issues to minimize downtime and support production goalsDocument maintenance activities, repairs, and completed work accuratelyCollaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams on equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiativesSupport audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance effortsFollow all food safety, GMP, plant safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) proceduresQualificationsJourneyman or Master Electrician License (required)Minimum of 3 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience; food manufacturing experience strongly preferredStrong working knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic/testing equipmentExperience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems preferredAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong commitment to safety practices and compliance standardsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical school training or completed electrical apprenticeship preferredINDBHWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
