In this role, you will work with POps, Customer and Go-To-Market team members to focus on facilitating the estimating, onboarding and production of print production opportunities that do not have a current workflow within the Lob environment.You will be helping to build and maintain deep relationships within the print and postal industries and coordinate with all other aspects of our OperationsCommercial Print Operations, postal logistics and operations, Process Improvement, Network Strategy and Supply Chain for customers who require services outside of the automated workflow. You will have a deep understanding of key industry players, supply chain best practices, and market trends. On a more tactical level, you’ll drive projects from inception to completion by leveraging rigorous print, mailing and operational management principles to derive and manage metrics like quality, speed, deliverability, and cost -- all in service of delivering a world-class experience for Lob’s customers.As a/the Print Operations Manager, you will work with the Senior Manager of Print Operations and other team members to…This role must sit in one of the following metros Chicago, Charlotte, Dallas, Phoenix, Philadelphia, or DetroitThis role will be on site at least 50% of the time and traveling multiple times a monthMonitor day to day on-site operations of a regional group of printers in the Lob PDN. Ensure that all jobs are processing adhering to Quality Standards and SLA requirements.Oversee an on-site QC staff member at each location and coordinate their activities in accordance with the Lob Quality Initiative.Work with Sales and Customer Team on projects that require special handling outside of our existing workflow.Work with Product and Integrations team to Manage the onboarding process for new programs requiring additional resources beyond normal production.Document project requirements via a written Statement of Work/RFP.Process appropriate requirements of live projects and review details with Sales Representative and /or Customer Team Representatives.Respond to questions and concerns from clients and Customer Team Representatives. Provide information and solutions.Review production samples to ensure they meet customer expectations.Proactively find and implement new technology, systems and processes to reduce manual or ad hoc practices to improve process variance and streamline operations.Suggest and work with team members to revise standard operating processes to improve delivery times.Work with team management to set strategic goals and work with colleagues and the team to achieve those operational goals.Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build the next generation of technology to integrate Lob with new USPS and commercial printer offerings.Conduct in-depth data analysis of the print partners under your supervision’s performance and develop deep understanding of value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunitiesUnderstand the financial/operational tools and reporting to ensure network performance meets business metrics and requirementsEffectively work with internal teams to improve Lob’s routing engine, softwares, data ingestion, and dashboardsCommunicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners and leadership)Develop a understanding of supply side partners and Lob technologyWhat You Will Bring To This Role...
