Maintenance Technician
Maintenance TechnicianResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and routine inspections on CNC machines, robotic welders, automation systems, and facility equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues affecting production machinery and support systems.Troubleshoot CNC controls, automated robotic cells, sensors, motors, and PLC-driven systems to restore proper operation.Monitor and maintain automation equipment such as material-handling robotics, conveyors, and automated inspection systems.Ensure safe and proper functionality of robotic guarding, light curtains, interlocks, and other safety devices.Perform mechanical repairs on CNC machining centers, including work on spindles, tool changers, coolant systems, and axis drives.Support the upkeep, repair, and performance of all production machinery, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Install, service, and adjust industrial equipment and automation machinery as needed.Use blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.Perform electrical troubleshooting on three-phase power systems, motors, and industrial control circuits.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills for industrial machinery and automation equipment.Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including work with three-phase power and industrial control systems.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Hands-on experience working with CNC machines and/or robotic welding equipment.Ability to troubleshoot CNC controls, robotic automation cells, sensors, and motors.Experience with PLC-controlled machinery, with familiarity in Fanuc and/or Allen-Bradley systems preferred.Why Work Here?Join a growing manufacturing operation that is actively investing in new production lines and advanced automation technologies.You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge CNC equipment, robotic welding cells, and fully automated systems while working in a clean, modern facility.The organization offers strong health, dental, and vision insurance and supports professional growth by exposing you to a wide variety of automation and industrial maintenance challenges.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a clean, fully automated manufacturing facility that houses numerous CNC machining centers, robotic welding cells, and advanced automation systems.The environment is not temperature controlled, so conditions may vary with the seasons.The position is on second shift, currently operating four 10-hour shifts from approximately 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Avon, IN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
