Join a team that truly loves bringing the magic of camp to life!Role DescriptionThis is a contract, on-site role for a Camp Nurse located in Great Barrington, MA. The Camp Nurse will provide medical care and ensure the health and safety of campers and staff throughout the duration of the camp. Responsibilities include administering medications, responding to and managing health-related incidents, maintaining accurate health records, and coordinating care with local medical facilities when needed. The Camp Nurse will also help educate campers and staff on basic health and wellness practices to foster a safe and healthy camp environment.QualificationsLicensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), with a valid and current license in Massachusetts.Knowledge of basic and emergency medical care, first aid, and CPR (certification required)Experience in pediatric, family, or school nursing.Ability to manage health records, medication administration, and emergency response proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with children, teens, and staffAbility to work in an outdoor camp environment and be on call for medical needsA background or familiarity with cardiac health is not a requirementMust pass a background check and have up-to-date immunizations
