Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based in Richardson, TX, for a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will perform administrative and clinical tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, preparing examination rooms, and assisting healthcare providers during patient exams. Responsibilities also include collecting patient information, measuring vital signs, drawing blood, administering medications, and ensuring proper care and sanitation procedures. Team collaboration, patient communication, and compliance with healthcare regulations are key components of this role. Qualifications Administrative skills, including scheduling, record management, and maintaining organization in clinical settingsProficiency in clinical tasks such as vital sign measurement, specimen collection, and assisting practitioners during patient examsFamiliarity with health and safety protocols, infection control, and equipment sterilizationStrong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare providersAbility to follow healthcare regulations and ethical standardsCompletion of a Medical Assisting program is required; certification or equivalent credential is preferredPrevious experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not requiredBasic computer proficiency and familiarity with medical software are a plus
