Production Worker

We are seeking a motivated individual to work part-time in our woodworking facility producing beehives in Windsor, Maine. Having experience in a woodworking environment is preferred, but the ability to learn and develop skills through on-the-job training is most important. General duties will include but are not limited to: Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manufacturing tasks Learn all aspects of manufacturing; from production to light assembly of products Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Chopping,Grading,Sorting and stacking wood products onto carts or pallets Maintaining clean, orderly area, returning supplies and equipment to assigned locations Working Conditions: Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) Loud environment Repetitive tasks Labor intensive All successful candidates must: Be able to lift 50lbs, stand all day, bend over, lift long planks, and other heavy materials Follow all safety protocols and adhere to PPE (safety glasses, etc) rules at all times Work well with a small team or alone as needed Be punctual and have reliable transportation to work Must be 18 years of age or older Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Schedule: No weekends Work Location: In person
