Student Campaign & Data Support Specialist

The Sun Devil Giving department of the ASU Foundation for A New American University is a team of dedicated students and staff with a passion to communicate the impact the foundation is having on the advancement of ASU and raise donations to support scholarships, student clubs and organizations, faculty programs, research, athletics, and much more. We reach donors through multiple communication channels, including social, email, mobile, web, phone and mail.The Campaign & Data Support Specialist will focus on managing various areas of campaign development and generating insights concerning audience engagement and channel effectiveness. The Student Analyst possesses a passion for data-driven decisions, high analytics competence, and exhibits strong attention to detail.What You’ll DoAssist with campaign intake and calendar management of solicitationsAssist with development, review, and editing of solicitation materialsAssist with pulling data to develop targeted audience lists and evaluate campaign ROIInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing analysis and actionable insights that will improve solicitation resultsEvaluate effectiveness of solicitation channels and prepare insights to communicate findingsDevelop and manage campaign, vanity, and QR codesSupport Associate Director of Annual Giving Partnerships with the creation of new process documents, intake forms, and other internal guides for the Annual Giving teamAssist with development of the Annual Giving NewsletterCreate visualizations and reports for requested projects or inter-departmental meetingsMaintain and support data analytics platformsOther duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedExperience with data analysis and report generationAttention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned dutiesHighly organized and able to handle multiple projects Experience with Microsoft Office; highly proficient in ExcelStrong and collegial interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by phone Ability to problem solve, develop & implement processesAbility to develop test data, test plans, test cases and validate resultsAbility to develop and document complex workflowsCollaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics is desiredPrior use of Salesforce is a plusAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to the ASU Foundation, its affiliates, and university business and confidential prospect information Relevant QualificationsA current undergraduate or graduate student at Arizona State UniversityBenefits$30 bi-weekly cell phone reimbursement Hands-on experience in a professional environment Professional development plans Opportunity to network with ASUEP leaders and other ASU students Access to LinkedIn Learning and their 8,000+ courses Professional skills workshops About ASU FoundationThe ASU Foundation fosters partnerships between ASU and like-minded individuals, corporations and foundations who believe in ASU’s mission and provide resources for ASU to manifest its charter into meaningful impact.
