The company maintains recognized quality standards, including GM CS1 and CS1 compliance.Role Description This is a contract, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator role located in Metro Detroit. The CNC Operator will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include loading materials, selecting and installing proper tooling, adjusting machine settings, and performing basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role involves inspecting finished parts, identifying defects, and collaborating with quality inspectors to maintain strict quality standards. The CNC Operator will document production activity, follow detailed work instructions, and communicate any equipment or product issues to leads and management in a timely manner.QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in Machine Operation, including CNC setup, troubleshooting, and safe equipment handling.Hands-on experience with Machining and Milling processes for metal or industrial materials.Strong Quality Control skills, including measurement, visual inspection, and adherence to specifications.Ability to work with industrial Machinery, including routine checks and basic preventive maintenance.Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality standards.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a manufacturing environment.Prior experience as a CNC Operator or similar machining role; vocational training or technical certification in machining or manufacturing is beneficial.Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow direction from leads and supervisors.Please note this is temporary position and the Payrate is $32hrly.
