Aircraft PainterJoin a leading aerospace team supporting Bombardier business jet programs in Wichita, KS.We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter / Aviation Painter to perform surface preparation, spray painting, and finishing on corporate aircraft, including Global and Challenger platforms. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality finishes on large aircraft structures in a production environment.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform surface preparation, sanding, masking, and cleaning of aircraft prior to paint applicationApply primer, topcoat, and aerospace coatings using spray equipment (HVLP preferred)Mask, unmask, and protect sensitive aircraft areas including windows and componentsRemove existing coatings, contaminants, and residues using approved methods and materialsPerform bodywork including putty application, sanding, buffing, and polishingApply chemical treatments such as Alodine to aircraft surfacesExecute touch-up and refinishing work to meet quality standardsRead and interpret engineering drawings and work instructionsDocument completed work per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM)Support aircraft movement and assist other team members as requiredFollow all safety, quality, and production guidelines in a regulated aerospace environmentQualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Painter, Aviation Painter, or Aerospace PainterExperience painting full aircraft or large structures (corporate jets preferred)Strong background in surface preparation, masking, priming, and spray paintingExperience with HVLP spray systems and industrial/aerospace coatings preferredAutomotive painting experience accepted only if it includes full-body or large-scale workAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsFlexibility to work different shifts as requiredHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityAdditional InformationWhy Join UsWork on high-end corporate aircraft (Global and Challenger jets)Competitive compensation with per diem and relocation support if applicableLong-term opportunity within the aerospace industryClean, safety-focused, and professional work environmentHiring ProcessPhone interview with recruiterInterview with hiring managerOffer and onboarding processBackground check and DOT drug screeningStart date confirmedThis position is located in Wichita, KS (near Mid-Continent Airport ICT).This role may also be referred to as Aircraft Painter, Aviation Painter, Aerospace Painter, or Aircraft Finishing Technician.
