Maintenance Technician II

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Pro-Active Engineering has an opening for aMaintenance Technician II. This position, under limited supervision,performs general building upkeep, equipment inspections, repairs andImprovements To Our Facility. Essential Functions 1. Perform Routinemaintenance as assigned, including on building interior/exterior andmachines, then logging preventative maintenance checks into the assetmanagement software (QT9). 2. Notify management of necessary buildingrepairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routinemaintenance. 3. Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenanceon SMT equipment, including solder paste printers, pick-and-placemachines, reflow ovens, automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, andselective soldering equipment. 4. Read and interpret technical diagrams,schematics, and service manuals to support repair and maintenanceefforts. 5. Maintain tools and repair equipment in optimum workingcondition. 6. Develop and Maintain Critical Spares Inventory to preventstock outs causing extended downtime 7. Create Preventative Maintenancedocumentation for: Training, communication, tracking. 8. Drive tocustomer sites as needed to make deliveries. 9. Ensure work area is keptclean and free of debris. 10. Ability to work independently, whileachieving daily expectations Competencies Mechanical Aptitude DecisionMaking Thoroughness Problem Solving Results Driven Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularlyrequired to talk and hear. The position is very active and requiresstanding, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling andclimbing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include closevision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperception and ability to adjust focus. Required Education andExperience High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and 2 Years ofrelevant building or equipment maintenance experience OR Associate\'sDegree or Technical Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology orElectro-Mechanical & Engineering Foundations Facilities maintenanceexperience (plumbing, drywall, etc.) Experience using hand andElectrical Tools. Preferred Education And Experience Proficiency Introubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems, pneumaticsystems, and machine control software is a plus.
