Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingCompany partiesCompetitive salaryFree food & snacksHealth insuranceJob ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, following GAAP standards.Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior managementIdentify and communicate economic trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenue and expensesManage all aspects of the organizations accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and forecasting.Oversee payroll process to ensure data accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.Assist with various tasks when required including preparing/filing/assisting with filing of: SOIs, 1099s, City of LA, WC & Liab audits, State SOS RenewalsCoordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with overall organization policies and procedures.Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.Identify areas of improvement in the accounting process and make appropriate recommendations.Develop and implement strategies to improve financial operations' overall efficiency and effectiveness.Research technical accounting issues for complianceAssist in evaluating the financial impact of business initiatives and investments and contribute to long-term financial planning and growth strategies.Job QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting or related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certificationProven experience (5+ years) as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role.Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles and regulationsWorking knowledge of accounting software solutions, including QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks OnlineExcellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.SkillsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Adaptable and can handle stressful situations with professionalismProven ability to maintain confidential information
