The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing development team in the advancement and execution of a multi-hundred-megawatt portfolio of energy projects. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, commercial insight, and strategic decision-making to ensure the projects meet rigorous standards for execution and third-party financing. The VP will also be involved in stakeholder engagement, including managing key client partnerships and representing the company in high-stakes forums. Applicants must have at least 15 years' of experience in energy project development, with a proven track record of delivering successful and bankable behind-the-meter projects. The role demands a leader with executive presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. The VP will be expected to mentor and guide the development team, drive rapid project advancement, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or a related discipline is required, with an MBA or further education being a plus.
