CDL Driver

Job Description Fritcher Construction Services is seeking a CDL Driver who will safely and efficiently deliver equipment and material to jobsites in a professional and timely manner. The ideal candidate should be familiar with established safety protocols. Ensure that all required paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Driver should have strong experience in this field and be able to perform all aspects of assigned projects, including but not limited to:The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks on the truckEnsure the truck is equipped with all necessary tools and equipment for the jobFollow all safety procedures and regulations while driving and operating the truckReport any mechanical issues or accidents to management immediatelyCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsAdhere to all company policies and procedures related to water truck driving and operationRequirements:Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Have a safe driving record verified by Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)At least 2 years of experience in driving heavy vehiclesPhysical fitness to perform duties such as climbing in and out of the truck, lifting chains, and performing basic maintenance tasksKnowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to driving and operating the truckEffective participation in a team environmentAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to listen, understand, and follow directionsA strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitudePossess physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areasRemain flexible as specific assignments changeAbility to lift 40 poundsSalary based on experience and qualificationsPlease note: We are not utilizing staffing agencies or third-party recruiters for this opening.Please visit DescriptionFounded in 2011, Fritcher Construction Services is a full-service, family-owned, heavy civil construction contractor offering all facets of commercial sitework: earthwork, utilities, and concrete.
