Accounts Payable SpecialistThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations. This role serves as a key point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders, supports process improvements, and ensures compliance with company policies and accounting standards.Duties and responsibilities include:Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice intake, coding, approval routing, and payment processingReview and verify invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and proper authorizationMaintain and reconcile the accounts payable ledger and vendor statementsResolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues in a timely mannerProcess weekly check runs, ACH payments, and other disbursementsEnsure proper documentation and retention of AP records for audit purposesAssist with month-end close, including accruals, AP reporting, and other ad-hoc tasksReconcile intercompany transactions and ensure proper allocationIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracyServe as a resource for internal departments regarding AP policies and proceduresSupport internal and external audits as neededAssist with special projects and other accounting functions as assignedQualifications include:Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred24 years of accounts payable or general accounting experienceStrong understanding of accounting principles and AP processesExperience with accounting systems/ERP (NetSuite, etc. a plus)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office SuiteStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple deadlinesCompetencies include:Analytical thinking and problem-solvingStrong communication and vendor management skillsHigh level of accuracy and accountabilityProcess improvement mindsetAbility to work independently and collaborativelyBenefits include:Competitive salaries and benefitsOpportunities for growth and developmentPTO accrualHealth, Vision, and Dental Available with HSA & FSA optionsEmployee appreciation and recognition401K optionLimitless male clothing discountsCompany paid LTD & employee life insuranceEmployee discounts on treatments, supplements and products
