Job Description & RequirementsNon-Invasive Cardiology PhysicianStartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 8 Pay Rate: $266.75 - $288.75This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.Details & requirements for this opportunity:Schedule: May 4th – until a permanent is secured. Day shift, 8 hours. Locum will be splitting time between two outpatient sites, Brookfield and Macon, but primarily MaconPractice Setting: OutpatientType of cases; required procedures: Provide outpatient evaluation and management of patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, valvular heart disease, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and other cardiovascular conditions. Deliver guideline-directed medical therapy and secondary prevention strategies.Credentialing timeframe: 60 days or less, temps are availableElectronic Medical Record: MEDITECHCertifications required: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, Board Certification or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CertificationLicensure required: Active Missouri State Medical License or Interstate Medical Licensure CompactFacility LocationColumbia provides an eclectic mix of thriving industry and gorgeous scenery.
