Job Description
At Lockheed Martin Space, we are looking for a junior developer to support the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software. The role involves requirements analysis, object-oriented analysis & design, coding and unit testing, integration, and support of formal test and delivery for NASA missions and U.S. Intelligence Community needs.
Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end development of spacecraft flight software solutions, including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, integration, and formal test/delivery support.
Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
Aspirations to pursue a Bachelor's Degree
Must be a U.S. Citizen. The position is located at a facility that requires special access and requires a government security clearance.
Experience Level: 2 yrs Jr College
Desired Skills
Experience with Python, Matlab, Simulink, or equivalent data science toolsets
Familiarity with real-time development environments and languages (Python, Java, C, C++)
Knowledge of embedded software, hardware, networks, SQL/NoSQL, and Information Security Domain
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple priorities in an agile environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance (TS/SCI w/Poly). Only U.S. Citizens are eligible.

Salary
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado is $48,500 – $85,675, depending on final work location.
