Platform Engineer

Location: Remote

Key requirements: Strong hands-on experience in both AWS and Azure, with AWS being the primary cloud platform. Strong expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).strong hands-on experience in Core Cloud Platform technologies and cloud infrastructure, as those skills are a key requirement for this role.

Job Description: -Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, and optimize cloud-native platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation, CI/CD implementation, platform reliability, and developer enablement. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in establishing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure while driving DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across the organization.

Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).Build and manage scalable container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes - EKS.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle management. Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated build, test, deployment, and release processes. Implement platform automation to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency. Monitor platform performance, reliability, availability, and security. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to build cloud-native solutions. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards. Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues across environments. Drive platform standardization, scalability, observability, and automation initiatives. Support disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies.

Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator).Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, or other Kubernetes ecosystem tools. Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in cloud environments. Experience implementing observability solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk. Exposure to multi-account AWS architectures and enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
