Field Trainer
Job Description: Clinical Field Trainer (TRAVEL REQUIRED)Reports To: Director of Training and CultureWhy This Role, Why Now: Enable Dental is projecting double digit growth growth in 2026. As a Training Specialist Enable Dental, you will delivery, and reinforcement of training across our markets nationwide — protecting workflow consistency, accelerating time-to-productivity, and ensuring every patient receives high-quality care through a well-trained, confident team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support in the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs for clinical and support operation teamsFacilitate training through various methods, including onsite instructor-led sessions, virtual learning, and blended formatsDevelop, update, and document curriculum content, training materials, and learning objectives aligned with company policies, workflows, and operational standardsCollaborate with market managers and subject matter experts to incorporate new programs, processes, and best practices into training initiativesSupport the identification and development of additional courses, job aids, and micro-learning resources to enhance learning effectivenessAdminister assessments and evaluate employee understanding and application of training contentTrack and report learner progress in designated systems and provide feedback to leadership regarding performance, gaps, and additional training needsProvide one-on-one coaching and follow-up training sessions to reinforce learning and support skill developmentRespond to training-related inquiries and provide ongoing support to field teamsAssist with training logistics including scheduling, communication, and coordination of training sessionsMaintain consistency and quality of training delivery across multiple marketsMust be comfortable traveling 1-2 weeks per month within Enable's markets to support and deliver onsite training to clinical and operations teamsOther duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: No direct reportsCompetencies:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Customer Service: Responds promptly to training needs; supports field teams with professionalism and urgency; follows through on commitmentsInterpersonal Skills: Builds trusted relationships through empathy and collaboration; fosters open dialogue, psychological safety, and shared ownership of learning outcomesOral Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats; ensures training materials and presentations are accurate, effective, and engagingTeamwork: Collaborates effectively with providers, practice managers, and cross-functional teams; actively engages stakeholders to understand challenges and tailor training solutions accordinglyTraining & Development Expertise: Demonstrates a deep understanding of dental care delivery and the interconnected systems that ensure every learning initiative strengthens both individual capability and organizational performanceAdaptability: Applies a seek-to-understand mindset; adjusts training approaches based on learner needs, operational changes, and real-world field conditionsCultural Awareness & Inclusion: Creates inclusive learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse learners across roles, backgrounds, and experience levels; models cultural awareness and respect in all training content and deliveryProfessionalism: Demonstrates accountability, reliability, and sound judgment; represents Enable Dental with integrity in all interactionsEthics / Diversity: Champions a culture of inclusivity and growth; reinforces that every team member's contributions support improved patient care, operational excellence, and organizational successSafety and Security: Adheres to safety protocols and company policies; reinforces compliance and best practices through training and exampleQualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty effectively. Capable of interpreting written and verbal instructions and applying them in real-world training scenarios.Computer Skills: Proficient in dental practice management systems (e.g., CareStack), learning management systems (e.g., Trainual), and standard business tools including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual training platforms. Able to navigate systems efficiently to support training delivery, tracking, and reporting.RequirementsEducation and or Experience:3+ years of experience in training, education, or staff development, preferably in a healthcare or dental environmentMulti-site management experience preferredProficient in practice management software, Microsoft Office suite, and a LMSKnowledge of dental terminology and proceduresPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
