Job duties include set-ups, checking routine programs and operating manual, automatic or semi-automatic NC machine tools and/or CNC machining equipment to perform standard and/or repetitive sequences of operations to meet close tolerance finish requirements. What You'll Be Doing:Milling, turning, drilling, tapping, sawing, hand layout of components using available jigs and fixtures. Mount and secure tooling in rack, turret, or magazine; secure fixtures and check to confirm reference points. Follow work instructions detailing tooling, fixturing, programming and offset requirements.Install required programming, confirm part number and revision level to ensure accurate part configuration. Load and unload components in and out of appropriate fixtures.Adjust tolerances and finish requirements to meet specifications; note and report variations in program sequence, positioning, cycle times, etc. Run additional equipment required to expedite completion of the daily workload.Provide daily maintenance of the equipment (i. e., filling and checking coolant levels)Assist coworkers as needed to complete tasks that require assistance.Keep all work areas neat and clean Carry out work-related tasks directed by department headsWhat You Bring (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):Previous machining experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of machine shop practices and techniques, machine operation and toolingAbility to read, understand and work from part drawings and specificationsUse a variety of precision measuring toolsAbility to work with accuracy and attention to detailA positive attitude and desire to learnAbility to lift 40 pounds frequently, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, reach with hands and arms, and bendWhat We Offer:Quarterly profit sharing - Boost your income with up to an additional $17,000 per year!Clean, climate-controlled work enrvironmentGenerous paid time off and 10 holidays!Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Tools provided, no need to bring your own!Job relocation assistance for candidates outside of the areaThe opportunity to be a part of a Top Workplace!Work Shifts: (5% premium for 2nd shift)1st shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 2 PM2nd shift schedule: Monday - Thursday, 2 PM - 12 AM
